On Fire Mission North
Taster Event
2pm, Saturday 5th November
What is On Fire Mission?
'We are an inclusive network, rooted in the Church of England, and open to all, dedicated to promoting charismatic renewal blended with the riches of catholic spirituality.'
On Fire Mission North is growing with groups popping all over the north of England - it's an exciting time to be involved with our network.
Our Event
This event is designed as a taster event - a place where people can come and explore what On Fire Mission is like. There will be incense, there will be worship music, there will be prayer ministry and there will be the sacrament. It's a wonderful expression of Christian worship that the Archbishop of York calls 'a heady mix'.
After the service we will be holding a gathering with food (if you are coming you are warmly invited to bring a cake contribution!) to ask questions and meet people locally who may share your interest.
Do I have to book?
No! Please just turn up.
There is a small car park at the church, but if this is full, please use the public carpark slightly further down Rough Lea Road.
If you are a local Blackburn Diocese clergy person and would like to concelebrate, please be in contact (revdgrahamyoung@outlook.com) beforehand so we have enough copies of the liturgy. If you would like to concelebrate, please robe in Alb/Cassock-Alb and red stole.
